Art Fair for Syria/Turkey Earthquake Aid
OCC are hosting an Online Art Fair to raise money for Choose Love's appeal for emergency funds to support those affected by the Syria/Turkey earthquake. As of Monday 20th Feb, more than 46,000 people have lost their lives and are missing or trapped beneath buildings. The number goes up every minute. Almost 26 million people are affected as thousands of buildings have collapsed.
Choose Love's partners need urgent funds to pull people and babies out of destroyed buildings and provide emergency medical care, food, and shelter.
We have had some very generous creatives donate brilliant work to the fair and we are hopeful that, together, we can help Choose Love to reach their fundraising target.
You can view the available pieces and how the fair works below.

"Hello! My name is Elena and I am an Artist based in Bristol.
I like to explore a range of media within my work and I am enthusiastic about learning new techniques and skills. My work is often playful and energetic with a focus on character, colour and humour. I am influenced by Film, Television, Science Fiction and History; the odder the better. The combination of the surreal and the mundane is a reoccurring theme in my work; and my work often features Monsters, Myths and Aliens."
Founded by a formulation chemist during the great lockdown of 2020, Georgia creates dog themed greeting cards as well as bespoke pet portraits. She has very generously offered to donate a custom pet portrait of one animal which will be sent digitally.
